Must the chairs be combined with the table or not?

If instead you want to play with styles and create a special space that can highlight the various elements of the room, opt for chairs that are not combined. This does not mean that there will be no harmony, on the contrary, we must be very careful to create the right options: If you have chosen an eccentric table make sure that chairs are discreet, or vice versa, if there are impressive it is preferable that the table goes into the background.
Another further good alternative that is trendy in recent times, are the mismatched chairs. In this way your personal taste will undoubtedly emerge from the décor, and you will also able to choose chairs without too many worries: It is important that you like it! 
Obviously, you can mix up styles: Vintage, industrial, but also design or simple wooden chairs for school and the game is done. You can also mix up outdoor and interior chairs around your table, if you like it. In doing so, your dining room will be original and inimitable without a shadow of a doubt!

And for kids?  

It is necessary that they are at the height of the table, it's up to you whether to choose a rise to make them sit at the same table of adults, or get a table for children and create a miniature of your dining table.
